Garden page

Harrow GardenThe pub garden is a lawn with at least a dozen tables surrounded by seasonal country-cottage flowers like delphiniums, poppies, everlasting-sweet peas, roses and dahlias plus a shady section comprising of campanula, phlox, and allium and trees such as greengage, apple, mulberry and fir.

Except for winter, Harrow flowers grown by Tony Clear are available from the large table at the front of the pub. Donations for these, along with quizzes and pub postcards, have helped us to raise more than £20,000 for the Macmillan Nurses’ appeal and the Rosemary Foundation, the charity that specializes in home-nursing for cancer patients.
